lyrics
Two shadows fall
in a mantle of fire
The rooted sun turned sallow
A second life
with the reason of heart?
This trail abides to follow
The precious flame
Faint movement in the dark
Our dreams unite in sorrow
The souls entwined
in the season of snow
in enigmas of signs
that we know
Along the sky
the weavers of the twilight
pull down their strings from the void
Our monument of memories and framed nights
Tears slowly run down its wall
Blustering waves
and tempests inside
The meaning voice went hallow
Soil painted white
The fog laid on our minds
Shangri-La of gallows
Allure in hands
A realm monochrome
Creations of lands
only we roam
Along the sky
the weavers of the twilight
pull down their strings from the void
A secret dance under the stars in pale light
Among the trees
A flaring hope
Our shadows lead the dance
in veins of winter
Eternity keeps the dance
within this winter
I've spent the day looking for some decent goth rock that speaks to me. Nothing was satisfying until I found this. Everything is right here: the atmosphere, the songwriting, the melodies, the voice, the whole concept. And what a surprise to hear a familiar voice and find out it's indeed Kvohst from <code> and Grave Pleasures. Although I think the album doesn't need his guest appearance - it's convincing enough on its own and I would have even preferred it without his vocals. Great band. Entleiber
Man I’ve devoured this album countless times and I don’t think this group will wear on me anytime soon. The vocals are perfect for this sound, the production is ideal; the drums are perfectly garage’d. Cannot wait for the next project. Riley Kesselring
The sole recording from this Brooklyn group, “Service” is hushed and mysterious, its artful songs defying easy categorization. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 28, 2023
The soundtrack to the award-winning film “Freeland” functions beautifully as an album in its own right, with stark, evocative instrumentals. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 7, 2021
Very calm, soothing, yet strong and evocative melodies. Great introduction into the world of Forndom and a true, even if a bit short, escape from the world of men. Anders Kvistr
